I went to the Culture Collide Festival in Echo Park today (we also went to Occupy LA…). The only band we really wanted to see was MEN, who we saw hours earlier in downtown LA at a secret show. I think Cathy and I have seen every single show MEN has played in LA. This was our sixth time seeing them. I was still excited and it was still so good.
Cathy and I didn’t really do much after that…we kind of saw Avi Buffalo, saw our friend Alexa who we haven’t seen in months, took terrible pictures in a photobooth, got a shitty fortune reading, and did badly at guessing 80’s songs. We left before the sun even went down. Stark contrast from last year’s Culture Collide!
